Gamry Introduces a New Potentiostat to Their Line of Electrochemical Instrumentation

Gamry Instruments has released a new potentiostat, the Interface 1010, to their complete line of electrochemical instruments. Philadelphia, PA, September 7, 2017 – Gamry Instruments has officially launched the new Interface 1010 Potentiostat/Galvanostat/Zero-Resistance Ammeter.  The new electrochemical instrument will be replacing the original Interface 1000 Series Potentiostat with additional features. All Gamry potentiostats are electrically isolated from ground and the new Interface 1010 is no exception. A floating potentiostat is able to make measurements on earth-grounded electrodes or multiple working electrodes in a shared cell. The Interface 1010 is available in two models.  The 1010E is a full-featured potentiostat capable of performing all techniques including electrochemical impedance, and the 1010B has the  ability to run basic physical and electroanalytical techniques . New features of the Interface 1010 include a built-in temperature monitor usin...
Battery-Testing with a Gamry Interface 5000 Potentiostat This Technical Note will assist you in connecting your batteries to an Interface 5000 potentiostat and running experiments explaining the connections to a two-electrode battery, tested in Half Cell mode, in Gamry’s Framework software.

The Gamry Interface 1000 Potentiostat Difference

The Gamry Difference - Interface 1000 Potentiostat Introduction When you purchase an instrument built by Gamry Instruments, Inc., you receive the finest electronics available in the field of electrochemistry. This article tells you about “the Gamry difference,” that is, what makes a Gamry Interface™ 1000 series potentiostat a Gamry. Channel-to-channel Isolation Electrochemical measurements necessarily require multiple signal channels from the various electrodes in your cell or test equipment. Each of these signal channels ideally should not affect another channel, that is, the channels are isolated from one another. To solve this problem, Gamry Instruments uses only low-profile components, to drastically lower any electromagnetic interference, and places a conductive fence between channels. Ultimate Resolution For the best possible analog-to-digital resolution, Gamry Instruments starts with a 16-bit A/D converter. We add to this controllable noise filters to remove any n...

Gamry Introduces a Laboratory Course in Electrochemistry Gamry Instruments has introduced a full semester Electrochemistry Course, the Laboratory Course in Electrochemistry.   This course  includes everything needed to introduce the undergraduate to present–day techniques of modern electrochemistry.  The course consists of all electrochemical instrumentation and accessories necessary to run the experiments presented in the included lab manual and to set up a complete electrochemistry laboratory for the course. In the past all necessary equipment needed to support the study of electrochemistry was purchased from several different vendors.  This ground-breaking  Laboratory Course in Electrochemistry  offers everything needed to complete the experiments designed in the Lab Manual.  All data-collection, analysis, and questions are on pages separate from the background and procedure so they can be torn out from the book and handed in with graphs and ...
